Due to a scheduling conflict a church group from
southern Minnesota was unable to come and help us shingle this house. That means that we are going to need some people
to step up and give us a hand. You don't have to spend a whole day, or even climb on the roof, we can use people at
the ground level as well. Give our office a call if you, or your group, would like to "brush with kindness" this family.
Almora is located just south and east of Vining. It is a beautiful town and very, very friendly. The house
is only one story tall and has a low pitched roof -- very volunteer friendly. The job will have a professional builder
as a site supervisor.
We are still taking "e-waste" at the quonset at the Dahlstrom's Carpet Outlet site at 1928 West Fir Avenue in Fergus Falls.
The following is a list of the materials that we will take. We are open from 9 a.m. to Noon on Saturdays. If
you have TVs or CRTs, or tube-type computer monitors you should take them to the Otter Tail County Recycling Center.

NO PAINT, NO Televisions, Monitors, fluorescent tubes of any kind, light fixtures of any kind or description.
People dropping off any of these items will be prosecuted for littering. We can not afford to take on waste that
we have to pay to dispose of such as televisions and computer monitors. We HAVE NEVER taken paint donations of any kind.

The Affiliate is planning on the beginning of construction on our lots on Lydia Lane if Fergus Falls. Construction
will begin after June 1, and will continue to no later than June 30, 2013. Applications are now available for Partner families.
Please call the office for an application. You must complete the application in order to be considered.

Habitat Hammer Mini Golf at Summerfest - over 170 kids played
Looking for any experts or skilled amateurs in slab-on-grade concrete
foundation construction. We are going to be using slab-on-grade foundations for the Underwood house. Any one with
power trowel equipment, magnesium floats, or power screeds is encouraged to contact our office. Also looking for light
excavation work to dig the foundation trenches. This trench will be 4' deep and 5' wide around the perimeter.
